See results without votingI am currently the Communications Director for NORML San Antonio, and I want to be able to legally possess and grow marijuana. There are 15 states that have passed medical marijuana laws. They can be easily found on NORML's website. I am on disability and have had years of chronic pain, so I do not expect any problems getting approved for the card. I am even interested in obtaining a job in the medical marijuana industry. Marijuana has been scientifically proven to help many disabling conditions, and doctors are beginning to recognize that it is not as harmful as the Federal government played it out to be for many many years. Interesting hub and great info, although I have to disagree with the vast majority of the population smoking marijuana. Can you imagine the chaos on the freeways and in the workplace? Not a real good idea in my opinion.

Being a Pot Head for most of my life, I must say that you have a very informative hub here! Back before Medical Marijuana was made legal I was quite the activist myself! In fact I lived right down the street from the very first medical Marijuana clinic in San Francisco. However, I finally quit smoking pot for the "short term memory lost was getting annoying!
I have one friend back in California that gets a prescription to Marijuana to deal with the pain that he got from a car accident! He is also an activist who is a co founder of a new Hemp Mag and I will probably become a staff writer for the Magazine. Once they get going on the project I will keep you posted for it may be something I can hook you up with! (As a contributing writer/researcher) I will be in touch to give you an up date.
